| Welcome To The F.L.I.E. Network The F.L.I.E. Network is a "In house" social service dedicated to helping I.B.E.W. Inside Electrician's. As directed in our Constitution, we are making an effort to take care of our own. Helping our traveling out of work Brother's & Sister's reach their destination safely. Helping with information on such things as where to find a cheap hotel or where all the other Brother's & Sister's are staying. Maybe just simple directions on the easy way to the Hall. Perhaps a spare room or a couch to lay on over night, complete with plenty of Brotherly fellowship. The possibilities here are truly endless. We also offer "Rescue" services. If at all possible, we won't leave you stranded and we'll get you to a place where your safe and among ibew friends & family. "A Hand Up", service is also available to help get you back on the road or through a tight spot until that first or second pay check. Please note that we are still in our infancy and our resources may be limited. Have faith though, we as a whole are a very resourceful group of people. BROTHER'S HELPING BROTHER'S We understand that not everyone has an extended network of people to call upon when things don't go as planned. Unlike Grandma, we know the nature of the beast of being a Union Electrician. Sometimes we forget that not everyone has been on the road for twenty years or more, knowing the USA like the way you know your neighborhood. We forget what it's like to be a CUB out on road, maybe for the first time and/or alone. And even though it may seem like it at times, you are not alone. There are literally thousands of us out there. We are blue collar working class people, just like you. Willing to help those who help themselves, with a hand up, not a hand out. HERE'S THE DEAL Here at The F.L.I.E. Network, there are no applications. No Board meetings. No embarrassing interviews. No Reference checks. No harassing collection calls. We operate solely on the "Good Ole' Boy" method. But, as they say, it only takes one bad apple to ruin the whole orchard. Just make the call & tell us your situation & we'll do all we can do to assist your needs as quickly as possible. In return, all we ask of you is respect and honesty. Always know if someone does you a favor, someday down the road you repay that favor to that person, or by helping another when the situation presents itself. And when you get on your feet, "Simply Restock The Shelf". SICK-N-NEEDY Although we vow to do everything in our power help you out with your needs, some things are simply out of our control. Then there are some things that are simply out of our league. We must limit ourselves to minor situations. If you have a need of a larger scale than that which we can handle here, we'll be more than happy to put you in direct contact with a representative of the Sick-N-Needy Organization that would be better suited to meet your particular needs. Also, donations to The Sick-N-Needy fund are crucial to the welfare of our Brotherhood. Please give at every opportunity and try to attend the many fund raising events around the country.
